Job description
Introduction

We are looking for a motivated Junior Engineer to join our client’s Hardware Engineering team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design, validation, and documentation of unmanned aerial system (UAS) hardware. The successful candidate will receive training across all aspects of the UAS, contributing to the development of ground data terminals (GDT), ground control stations (GCS), and aircraft systems.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Follow defined hardware design processes and maintain accurate documentation in line with the hardware design plan
  • Generate reports on sorties and assist with evaluation and verification of sortie data
  • Support the Preliminary Design stage, ensuring proper documentation of this phase
  • Produce evaluation reports to validate compliance of each design phase with item requirements
  • Assist in ensuring DO-254 process compliance, including documentation requirements
  • Participate in peer reviews of hardware designs to maintain technical quality standards
  • Ensure all documentation and processes comply with industry standards and regulations (DO-254)
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in UAS technologies and apply relevant innovations to ongoing projects
Desired Experience and Qualifications
  • BEng or MEng in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering (or closely related field) – non-negotiable
  • No prior work experience required; graduates are welcome to apply
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong IT efficiency and willingness to learn
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Own transport required
