Job summary

Pronto Labour Team in Durban seeks a Junior Electrician with 2-3 years FMCG or manufacturing experience to join our team in the KwaZulu-Natal region. The role requires a trade-tested electrician with knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.

You will install, repair and maintain equipment, conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and read electrical drawings; familiarity with PLCs and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years FMCG or manufacturing experience
• Minimum 1 year experience with VSD or VFD
• Trade Tested electrician
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations and safety standards
• Ability to read electrical drawings and perform root cause analysis

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain electrical systems, machinery and equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance routines
• Troubleshooting electrical issues and PLC-related faults
• Read and interpret electrical drawings
• Work with light and heavy current systems
