Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Junior Electrical Engineer, based in Pretoria.

The Junior Electrical Engineer will assist in developing electrical designs, analyzing and troubleshooting electrical systems, and collaborating effectively with a team on power distribution projects.

They will also ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, stay updated on new technology advancements, and support senior engineers in various project phases, from planning to implementation.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in electrical design and foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles
  • Understanding of electricity and its practical applications
  • Experience or academic knowledge in power distribution and power systems
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (BTech, BEng, Bsc Eng.)
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations is an advantage
  • Prior internships or project experience in electrical engineering is a plus (1–2 years)
  • Must speak Afrikaans
