Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Draughtsman to join our team on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and revising product drawings, supporting new product development, and assisting with customer drawing requirements.

This role requires proficiency in CAD software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Based in Centurion or surrounding areas.
  • Drawing Certificate.
  • 1–3 years' drawing experience.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
  • Inventor knowledge or experience (essential).
  • Computer literacy. Vault experience (advantageous).
Key Responsibilities
  • Revise and update existing product drawings.
  • Create complete product drawings from scratch.
  • Provide drawings for customer requirements and new product development.
  • Prepare detailed part and assembly drawings.
  • Pile project files, datasheets, and bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Implement and adhere to drawing office standards.
  • Complete reasonable ad-hoc tasks as requested by the manager.
