Duties & Responsibilities

Environment: A dynamic Property Group seeks an ambitious, vibrant and energetic individual who has interest in the Property Industry, to join its Joburg team as a full time Junior Development Manager / Design Architect.

The Group excels in Property Management and Development across Commercial, Residential, and Student Portfolios.

Your role will include supporting Project teams in developing concepts and detailed design solutions, assisting in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and presentations while participating in site visits & inspections and ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.

  • Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and presentations.
  • Support Project teams in developing concepts and detailed design solutions.
  • Participate in site visits, inspections and meetings with contractors.
  • Prepare documentation for council submissions and approvals.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors and internal teams throughout project phases.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials and technologies.
Requirements
  • Qualifications – Master's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
  • 2-3 years of post-registration experience in Architecture.
  • Registered with SACAP as a Candidate or Professional Architect.
  • Proficiency in architectural software (Revit is essential).
