Qualifications

• Working knowledge of CAD software is essential.

Job description

This role would entail being responsible for the industrialisation of new products and processes within the factory. Continually improve factory processes, evaluate and maintain current processes and tooling to achieve departmental goals and company objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and CNC programming
• Product industrialization
• Continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or a Technical N3
• NTS 2 to NTS 6 or equivalent
• Experience as a Tool and Die Maker (other trades will be considered)
• Knowledge of extrusion process equipment and the manufacturing and design of Extrusion Dies
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using VISi 3D CAD software
• Working knowledge of 2D drafting software such as AutoCAD or NanoCAD
