Job summary

Clicks Group Limited is seeking a Junior Demand Planner to ensure accurate demand forecasting and optimized inventory for assigned categories. You will collaborate with Category Managers to align pre-season plans, markdowns and inventory strategies, and monitor forecast performance against targets.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations to improve profitability and working capital.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in purchasing/retail management is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, math, decision science, marketing, business or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for forecast accuracy within allocated categories.
• Be accountable for optimized inventory levels and minimum order quantity within categories.
• Partner with Category Managers on pre-season sales, markdown, margin and inventory plans.
• Analyze and propose top line shifts in assortment investment at category level.
