Job summary

Innovazi Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Demand Planner to manage finished goods stock, support OTIF delivery, and balance customer demand with minimal excess.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years in demand planning within textile or clothing manufacturing, strong Excel skills, analytical ability, and good communication across departments.

Qualifications

• Matric with Mathematics is required.
• 1-2 years' experience in a demand planning role.
• Experience in textile or clothing manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage finished goods stock levels per policy and customer needs.
• Support 100% OTIF delivery targets.
• Balance customer demand with minimizing excess stock.
• Monitor and deplete excess and obsolete stock timely.
• Coordinate with Production to meet lead times.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Generate and analyse inventory and demand reports.
• Maintain accurate system information and administration.
• Ensure smooth information flow through systems and schedules.
• Support the Senior MRP/Supply Chain Planner as required.
• Monitor demand trends to support planning.
• Maintain planning data and communicate stock issues to stakeholders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric with Mathematics.
• Supply Chain / Logistics qualification advantageous.
• 1 - 2 Years' experience in a Demand Planning Role.
• Must have experience within the Textile or Clothing manufacturing industry.
• Experience with Sync advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take full responsibility for managing finished goods stock levels in line with company policies and customer requirements.
• Support the achievement of 100% on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery.
• Manage inventory effectively by balancing customer demand with the need to minimise excess stock.
• Monitor and ensure that excess and obsolete stock is depleted timeously.
• Coordinate with Production and Manufacturing teams to ensure finished goods are produced according to customer requirements and within required lead times.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to support on-time deliveries and resolve supply chain issues that may affect finished goods availability.
• Generate and analyse reports relating to inventory levels, stock turnover and customer demand.
• Ensure system information and administrative processes are maintained accurately and timeously.
• Ensure the correct flow of information through relevant systems and schedules.
• Complete tasks and provide support to the Senior MRP / Supply Chain Planner as required.
• Monitor demand trends and stock requirements to support effective production and inventory planning.
• Maintain accurate planning information and communicate potential supply or stock issues to relevant stakeholders.
