Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Data Scientist to join our globally distributed team. Key Responsibilities

• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets from various sources to extract actionable insights and identify patterns.
• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and optimize processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Utilize statistical techniques to conduct hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and other analytical experiments to validate models and findings.
• Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations, reports, and presentations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and related fields, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical concepts, and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases for data extraction and manipulation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a globally distributed team.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Prior experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) is a plus.
• Passion for data science and a drive to continuously learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
