The Position

The Junior Contract Manager will support the effective preparation, administration, and monitoring of commercial contracts in engineering projects, ensuring compliance with legal and internal standards, maintaining accurate documentation, assisting with procurement and tender processes, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to help deliver projects efficiently and mitigate contractual risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Support the Contract Manager in negotiating contract terms with clients and suppliers.
  • Monitor contract execution and performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Maintain records of all contracts and related documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding contractual matters.
  • Participate in regular contract reviews and audits.
  • Assist in resolving contract disputes and claims effectively.

Key Deliverables:
  • Timely and accurate drafting and review of contract documentation.
  • Well-maintained and accessible contract records and registers.
  • Regular compliance tracking and reporting on contractual obligations.
  • Effective support during contract negotiations and change management processes.
  • Documented participation in contract reviews, audits, and lessons learned.
  • Contribution to risk identification and resolution of contract-related disputes.
  • Support in preparing contractual correspondence, variation orders, and notices
Candidate Requirements:
Education & Experience:
  • Diploma or degree in Law, or Contract Management.
  • 2–3 years of experience in contracts, procurement, or legal support roles.
  • Exposure to FIDIC or NEC contracts
  • Prior experience in the engineering industry advantageous
