Job summary

EDF power solutions (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town invites you to join its Communications team as a Communications Graduate. Based in-office, you will gain hands-on experience across internal and external communications, event coordination, and social media content creation.

You will work with the Communications Manager to ensure messaging aligns with the company's brand, values, and strategic objectives, while developing practical skills in newsletters, intranet content, media updates, and branding

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
Foundational knowledge of internal and external communications, writing, editing, and event coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
1–3 years' experience in a communications, PR, marketing, media, or administrative support role.

Responsibilities

Support the creation of internal newsletters, intranet content, and presentations.
Assist in maintaining internal platforms such as SharePoint and Grid 365.
Coordinate internal campaigns and employee milestones.
Assist in sourcing content for media releases and external newsletters.
Support on-site event delivery and post-event reporting.
Create and schedule social media content aligned with brand guidelines.
Provide general administrative support to the Communications team.
