Placements24 is seeking a motivated Junior Chemical Engineer to join our process development team on a contract basis. This fully remote role offers early-career engineers a chance to design and optimize chemical processes with guidance from senior engineers.

You will contribute to experimental design, data analysis, and development of new process technologies in a collaborative virtual environment, with a strong emphasis on professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience in chemical engineering, with exposure to process development or R&D.
• Strong grasp of thermodynamics, kinetics and transport phenomena.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Familiarity with process simulation software is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing laboratory-scale experiments for process development.
