Placements24 is seeking a Junior Chemical Engineer to support operations in Paarl, Western Cape. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience with process design, data analysis, troubleshooting, and project execution within a collaborative team.

You will work with senior engineers to apply core chemical engineering principles, gain exposure to process simulations, and contribute to efficiency and innovation across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 0-3 years of internship or work experience in chemical engineering.
• Solid understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with process simulation software is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of chemical processes and equipment.
• Collect and analyze process data, preparing reports on performance and findings.
