Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated, practical, and energetic Junior Brand Manager.

This role is ideal for a self-starter, an experienced writer who is articulate and tech‑savvy.

You will play a crucial role in executing marketing plans, with a strong focus on our digital presence and analysing performance data to meet the company's objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Marketing Plans – Develop and implement the annual brand plan, setting key objectives (sales key launches), crafting a brand strategy and promotional calendar, and executing key marketing activities.
  • Administrative Support – Conduct periodic price audits on competitor brands as instructed, coordinate with logistics, retailer head offices, and store staff, maintain accurate logs of press pack distributions and follow‑ups, and prepare for retailer strategy meetings.
  • New Product Launches / Promotions – Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions, ensure timely project setup, prepare field instruction letters and deliver them promptly to stores, develop launch presentations and samples for retailer meetings, and design merchandising and POS materials.
  • PR and Social Media Management – Coordinate the distribution of press releases, samples, photographic content, competitions, giveaways, etc.; compile PR samples and formal press kits; foster strong media relationships; develop a strategic PR plan; achieve a threefold ROI; write press releases and prepare press kits; uphold the brand image; source barter opportunities; manage the PR budget; monitor media coverage; implement effective PR systems and procedures; organise PR events.
  • Maintain All Social Media Platforms – Develop a social media calendar and oversee postings; set up new brand accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok; manage content updates for Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram twice a week or as needed; grow social media followers steadily; keep detailed reports of all social media activities and track progress monthly; submit monthly reports to the Marketing Manager; update brand websites with new promotions; ensure stock levels are reflected on websites; keep abreast of new apps and technology to maintain relevance.
  • Profitability – Biannual competitor pricing analysis; compile schedules for price increases; monitor and maintain brand spend within budget.
  • Inventory and Forecasting – Liaise with sales sites such as One Day Only; maintain monthly forecasts for standard lines, safety stock, and promotions.
  • Key Accounts / Retailer Liaison – Achieve sales targets through retailer relationships; prepare for strategic meetings with key retailers; deliver brand presentations to retailers; keep strategy documentation current; stay informed about current brand and promotional performance.
Qualifications
  • Education: Commercial Degree with a specialisation in Marketing.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of marketing experience in a corporate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing (Social Media, SEO, Websites).
  • Tech‑savviness is essential.
