Our client is looking to employ Junior Brand Manager based in Ottery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement annual brand plans, objectives, strategies, and promotional calendars.
- Administration: Provide day‑to‑day support including price audits, retailer liaison, and meeting preparation.
- Product Launches: Coordinate new product launches and promotions, ensuring timely execution and effective merchandising.
- Operational Interface: Manage SKU codes, master data, and price updates in Odoo system.
- PR & Media: Prepare press releases, kits, and events; maintain media relationships; manage PR budgets and ROI.
- Social Media: Create and manage content calendars, grow followers, update websites, and track performance reports.
- Profitability: Conduct competitor pricing analysis, manage brand budgets, and implement price schedules.
- Inventory & Forecasts: Maintain forecasts, safety stock, and promotional stock levels; liaise with sales sites.
- Retailer Relations: Build strong relationships with key accounts, prepare presentations, and monitor brand performance.
- Standards & Teamwork: Uphold company policies, maintain a tidy work environment, and support team goals with flexibility.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric is a must!
- Commercial Degree with a Major in Marketing
- 2‑3 years of marketing experience in a corporate office environment
- Background in brand management, ideally within the Beauty Industry
- Digital marketing management: social media, SEO, websites
- Tech‑savvy with strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively
- High numeracy with the ability to evaluate and analyze data
