99 Cents in Cape Town is seeking a talented Art Director to join our creative team. You will conceptualise and execute campaigns under the leadership of a Group Head and Creative Director, translating briefs into compelling visuals.

You will present imaginatively to clients and senior creatives, applying design excellence across social platforms, basic animation, and UI/UX considerations to enhance brand impact and drive results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as an art director in a large/integrated Advertising Agency
• At least 1 year in a high-volume environment
• Experience with social media design across platforms
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) & After Effects
• Knowledge of the digital landscape and social platforms
• Basic animation/motion graphics & video editing experience a bonus
• Understanding of UI/UX digital marketing best practices a bonus
• Strong interpersonal skills; team player, persuasive and innovative
• High standards for execution and attention to detail
• Ability to present work imaginatively to clients and senior creatives
