Placements24 in Port Elizabeth is seeking a Junior Architectural Assistant, an entry-level role for a recent graduate who is passionate about architecture and eager to learn. You will support the architectural team with drawing production, site visits and project administration, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

You will assist with CAD drawing and presentation materials, participate in site observations, maintain project files, and research materials and building codes.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Architecture or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of architectural drawing principles and software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist architects in developing architectural drawings and presentation materials using CAD software.
• Participate in site visits to observe construction and assist with site documentation.
• Help maintain project files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and organization.
• Perform basic research on materials, building codes, and construction techniques.
• Provide general administrative support to the architectural team in Port Elizabeth.
