Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Application Support Specialist to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to users, generation and preparation of system reports as needed, and resolving software-related issues.

You will work closely with other support specialists and developers to diagnose and troubleshoot problems, document solutions, and maintain accurate records.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow in the IT field.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and on-site support as needed.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software-related issues, including configuration and functionality problems.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support specialists or developers.
  • Participate in the onboarding of new users, including training as required.
  • Investigate and analyze system issues to determine the cause of issues and appropriate corrective action.
  • Review and recommend continuous improvement of the systems and support processes.
  • Document technical information and processes for existing and newly developed functionality.
  • Assist with testing and debugging of new software releases.
  • Generate reports and tailor them as per user requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest software versions and technologies.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with users and team members.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar preferred.
  • Strong understanding of computer software.

Package & Remuneration

R10, pm CTC on a 12-month contract, with the option to become permanent based on candidate performance.
