Overview

A professional labour relations environment in Bedfordview, is seeking an Administrative assistant to provide structured administrative and office support. This role is well suited to an organised individual with an interest in labour and employment law who is eager to learn and grow within a specialist professional setting.

Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative and Case Support
  • Open, maintain, and update labour law case files
  • Capture client and employee information accurately
  • Assist with drafting and formatting basic labour related documents
  • File, scan, and organise correspondence and legal records
Labour Law and CCMA Support
  • Assist with preparation of documentation for CCMA, bargaining councils, and labour court matters (training provided)
  • Track case dates, hearings, and deadlines
  • Liaise with clients, employees, unions, and external parties under supervision
  • Assist with notices, referrals, and compliance documentation
Client and Office Support
  • Answer calls and emails in a professional manner
  • Schedule consultations, hearings, and meetings
  • Welcome clients and maintain strict confidentiality
General Office Duties
  • Order stationery and manage office supplies
  • Maintain an organised and professional office environment
  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
