Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Capture journals into SAP.
  • Assist with month-end reports.
  • Raise admin POs for SA & Mauritius.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with yearly audit queries.
  • Conduct monthly budget analyses.
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capturing Journals into SAP.
  • Assisting accountants with month end reports.
  • Raising admin POs for SA & Mauritius.
  • Assisting accountants with tax return preparation and submissions.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations – with assistance from accountants.
  • Assisting with yearly external audit queries.
  • Assisting Accountants with monthly budget analyses.
  • Any ad-hoc tasks as set out by the Head Shared Services and Heads of Finance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • BCom Honours in Finance/Accounting
  • Three years work experience
  • Self-motivation, Attention to Detail & Deadline-Oriented
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Have the ambition to help drive the growth of a young company.
  • Strong communication and administration skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics KPIs, global supply chain practices, and regulatory frameworks.

Working hours in Sandton are 7:20am – 4:20pm M-F and 8:00am – 12:00pm on alternate Saturday.
