Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices to correct supplier and GL accounts.
• Perform monthly supplier reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Load payments onto banking platform for approval.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedule and supplier/vendor records.
• Perform monthly AP trial balance reconciliations.
• Complete month-end reporting within set timeframes.
• Prepare monthly journals for related entities and assist with month-end processes.
• Handle adhoc projects as needed by management.

Key Skills & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field

• Minimum 3 years' relevant accounting experience

• Strong Excel skills

• Sage Intacct experience advantageous

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

What you will be doing:

• Process supplier invoices accurately to the correct supplier and general ledger accounts.

• Perform monthly supplier reconciliations between supplier statements and Sage Intacct accounts. Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies and reconciling items.

• Load payments onto the banking platform for approval and release by authorised management

• Process payment cashbook entries accurately. Maintain and reconcile the fixed assets schedule for the entity Maintain accurate supplier/vendor records.

• Perform monthly reconciliation of the Accounts Payable Trial Balance.

• Maintain accurate filing and financial records for audit purposes.

• Complete month-end reporting within specified time frames.

• Monthly journals for associated entities. Assist with month-end procedures, including accruals, prepayments, and AP ledger reconciliations.

• Adhoc projects and exercises as and when required by management.
