Overview

A dynamic and fast-growing marketing agency is seeking a Junior Account Executive to join their Cape Town-based team.

This role is perfect for someone with 1–3 years of experience who thrives in a fast‑paced, creative environment and wants to grow their career in client management and brand communications.

you’ll play a key role in supporting client growth and relationship activities, ensuring smooth onboarding, managing timelines, and keeping projects on track.

This position offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership while building your confidence in client communication, project coordination, and social media strategy implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Client Onboarding Support
  • Assist with the administrative setup of new clients, including account creation, brief submissions, and documentation.
  • Request and track quotations, invoices, and reconciliations to ensure timely processing.
  • Provide support to the Growth & Relationship Director with the aim of managing these tasks independently within three months.
  • Client Relationship Assistance
  • Support in nurturing relationships with new and existing clients through responsive communication.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, take accurate notes, and follow up on agreed action items.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, client documents, and status reports.
  • Communication Strategy & Social Media Coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement communication and social media strategies.
  • Schedule and publish content across multiple platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Support content development and adhere to content calendars, with eventual ownership of social media processes.
  • General Administrative Support
  • Maintain project documentation, trackers, and reports for internal and client use.
  • Provide additional support to ensure client satisfaction and uphold the agency's reputation.
Requirements
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a client‑facing, project coordination, or marketing support role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive, dependable, and eager to learn.
  • Familiarity with social media management is advantageous.
