Key Responsibilities
- Research, track, and analyse trends, policies, and developments within the travel and tourism industry.
- Produce accurate, engaging, and insightful news and feature articles for a B2B audience.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with travel professionals, operators, tourism boards, and policymakers.
- Conduct interviews and gather first-hand insights from industry leaders and stakeholders.
- Interpret market data, reports, and regulatory updates to explain their business implications.
- Collaborate with editors and colleagues to uphold editorial standards and tone.
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining journalistic integrity and attention to detail.

- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in reporting.
- Confident in networking and attending industry events professionally.
- Organised, dependable, and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and resourceful able to identify and develop original stories beyond press releases.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant degree or diploma in Journalism, English, Communications, Politics, Economics, or related fields (preferred).
- Proven journalism or writing experience with a portfolio of published work.
- Experience in newsroom, trade, or industry-specific reporting will be an advantage.
- A valid drivers licence and own reliable transport (travel required for interviews, events, and press trips).
