Job description

Feltex is seeking a dedicated Junior Security Operator to support the current Infrastructure and Security Specialist. The successful incumbent will be responsible for assisting in maintaining the security and integrity of the organisation’s IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and responding to potential threats under the guidance of senior team members and the Infrastructure Specialist.

This role plays a key part in supporting operational excellence by monitoring security systems, assisting with incident response, supporting infrastructure maintenance activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT security function. The Junior Security Operator will also serve as a collaborative link between the IT security team and other departments, foster a culture of vigilance and accountability, and ensure that all infrastructure and security practices align with organisational objectives and compliance requirements.
