A leading energy consultancy in South Africa is seeking a JET analyst to contribute to research and analysis on the Just Energy Transition. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience and a Master's degree in a related field. Responsibilities include conducting research, supporting report preparation, and monitoring policy developments. This role offers exposure to senior decision-makers and opportunities for career growth in energy economics and sustainability.
The role As a JET analyst, you will contribute to research, analysis, and project delivery across a wide range of topics related to the Just Energy Transition and energy financing.
You will support senior team members in developing insights and recommendations for clients that include banks, investors, corporates, governments, and development institutions.
You will work under the guidance of a managing director and senior colleagues, contributing to both client-facing and internal research projects.
