Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior underwriters and management.
• Gain exposure to all aspects of commercial underwriting.
• Assist in broker liaison and policy administration.

Skills

Minimum 2 years experience in Commercial Underwriting within short-term insurance

Working knowledge of Motor and Non-Motor commercial lines

Experience on TIAL or similar underwriting system

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong administrative and organisational abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy

Computer literacy MS Word, Excel, Outlook

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines

RE5 qualification

Class of Business: Commercial Lines

Exposure to risk surveys and underwriting audits
