Job summary

Accso - Accelerated Solutions GmbH seeks experienced software engineers to tackle challenging projects for notable German and South African clients. You will design, develop and deploy robust software solutions using AI agent-based methods and modern architectures.

You will build backend services, REST APIs, and integration layers with OO design patterns, delivering thoroughly tested, readable code and contributing to CI/CD and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in computer science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience with the listed technologies.
• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Design Thinking.
• Proactive, pragmatic and team-oriented with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Job description

• You solve challenging software engineering problems in a wide variety of projects for well-known, large German and South African clients.


• You design, develop and implement robust software solutions by applying AI agent- based development methods and tools throughout the software development process.


• You design and build backend services, REST APIs and integration layers, applying object-oriented design principles and established design patterns.


• You write well-designed, testable, efficient and readable code that meets both internal and customer standards, and you deliver software that is thoroughly tested and debugged.


• You contribute to code reviews, performance tuning and CI/CD practices, and help raise the team’s engineering standards.


• You build enterprise Java applications using agentic methods


• You develop environments for projects: rule files, context documentation, MCP server configurations, and scaffolding that optimises AI collaboration


• You review and validate AI-generated code with a critical eye—understanding failure modes, common hallucinations, and quality indicators

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a university degree in computer science or a comparable discipline.


• You have at least 5 years of experience in professional software development, including hands‑on experience with the technologies listed above.


• You enjoy working with agile methods such as Scrum or Design Thinking.


• You are proactive, pragmatic and team-oriented, with strong collaboration and communication skills and a drive for continual improvement.
