Job summary

Indsafri is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test suites to ensure software quality and reliability. You will work closely with developers and product teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, focusing on robustness and scalability.

The role involves building and maintaining test scripts with Selenium WebDriver, performing API and SQL validation, and contributing to framework optimization in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Candidates must understand SDLC/STLC and software testing concepts.
• Strong Java programming skills with OOP fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for automation.
• Experience with API testing (RESTAssured, Postman) and SQL database testing.
• Ability to design and manage test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Develop scalable automation frameworks to support regression testing.
• Execute API and database testing to validate data integrity.
• Collaborate with developers to translate requirements into test cases.
• Identify and track defects; verify fixes.
• Improve test coverage and automation efficiency via code reviews.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and stand-ups.
