The IT Support Technician will provide comprehensive technical support across the organisation, ensuring all IT equipment, systems, and networks operate effectively. The role involves resolving hardware and software issues, managing IT procurement, and coordinating with external service providers to maintain business continuity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical support for laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Set up and configure new laptops, desktops, and mobile phones.
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain hardware components as required.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating to external IT service providers where necessary.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
  • Manage the procurement and ordering of IT equipment and consumables.
  • Monitor and oversee the company’s IT network.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licences, and service agreements.
  • Provide user support and guidance on IT systems and equipment.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and mobile device support.
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining Windows-based systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking (routers, switches, Wi‑Fi).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
