Responsibilities

As an IT Support Technician, you will provide professional technical support to meet the needs of the organization. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting user workstations and laptops on company infrastructure.
  • Ensuring the correct software is loaded onto the user’s machine before delivery, including use of Intune and understanding of its processes and functionality.
  • Front-line desktop support via chat, support requests, or Jira Service Management.
  • Troubleshooting problems via Teams, in-person, or remote desktop technologies.
  • Monitoring company infrastructure and properly escalating alerts on systems like Grafana, Kibana, and Nagios.
  • Office 365, Exchange on-prem and Exchange Online (365) experience.
  • Microsoft Entra and Active Directory administration.
  • User rights management via group membership changes in Active Directory and Entra.
  • Support and escalation for corporate and call centre applications.
  • Knowledge and experience of Windows 10/11 and macOS.
  • Ability to diagnose and fix hardware problems and replace hardware parts.
  • Exposure to and knowledge of printers, networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, hard drives and laptop internals.
  • Good knowledge of Dell products.
  • Keen learner, able to apply new technologies/methods as they become available.
