A leading managed service provider is seeking an IT Support professional for their team. The role requires over 5 years of IT support experience, advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, and proficiency in PowerShell and scripting. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues and working under pressure. Strong communication and organization skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT support (MSP) experience.
  • Proficient in PowerShell and scripting.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft HyperV, Active Directory, firewall, networking, and backup technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge in Cloud technologies like O365, Azure, Exchange, SharePoint & Intune.

Overview

Our Clients are well established and also fast growing MSP based in New York, USA. (3pm-12am/4pm-1am)


Experience/Requirements


  • 5+ Years of IT support (MSP) experience

  • Proficient in PowerShell and scripting.

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft HyperV, Active Directory, firewall (IPSEC and SSL), networking (VLANs) and backup technologies.

  • Advanced knowledge in Cloud technologies like O365, Azure, Exchange, SharePoint & Intune.

  • Must be a great communicator, organized & a consistent team player.

  • Process-driven individual.


Duties


  • Ability to troubleshoot complicated technical issues.

  • Research & Explore new technologies.

  • Ability to work under stress & deadline pressure.

  • Ability to communicate effectively across different individuals, departments, and external parties.

  • Ability to properly document service call notes, create and maintain checklists etc. and create diagrams.

  • Experience in technologies and systems below will be advantageous;

  • Sonicwall / Sophos / Fortigate firewall

  • Datto backup (Or similar)

  • Datto RMM (Or similar)

  • Azure AVDs

  • ITGlue

  • Screenconnect
