Responsibilities
- Manage and support the network infrastructure in the warehouse.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure smooth network operations.
- Install, terminate and crimp network cables as needed.
- Install, configure and maintain CCTV Codex and IP camera systems.
- Manage access control systems and ensure secure entry points.
- Provide support for business software including Pastel.
- Assist users with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Support software installations, updates and troubleshooting for users.
- Maintain IT documentation including system configurations, network layouts and user guides.
- Assist with backups, routine maintenance and overall IT system upkeep.
- Provide technical assistance to staff via phone, email or in‑person.
- Educate staff on IT best practices, cybersecurity awareness and safe technology use.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Matric (Grade 12).
- Qualifications: FET Certificate in PC Support/PC Engineering IT: Technical Support or NC: IT Systems Support (NQF Level 4-6).
- Certifications: CompTIA (and N required).
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) – advantageous.
- CompTIA Security – advantageous.
- Basic PLC knowledge – advantageous.
Experience & Skills
- At least 3 years relevant IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking, Windows 10 operating systems and Microsoft 365.
- Hands‑on experience with Active Directory administration.
- Flexibility to work shifts, overtime and stand‑by as required.
- Ability to successfully complete a practical IT competency test during selection.

Package & Remuneration
