Job Overview

As a highly skilled technical leader, we are seeking a seasoned Sys Ops Team Lead to drive automation and process optimization for our IT operations.

This strategic leadership role is responsible for designing, building, and operating a modern Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform that enables efficient, automated, and secure IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Strategy: Design and implement automation workflows using Power Shell, Python, Ansible, or RMM platforms to streamline operational tasks and enhance monitoring capabilities.
• Script Development: Create and maintain Python scripts to optimize toolsets and improve service delivery.
• Tool Optimization: Optimize and manage toolsets such as N-able, Acronis, Intune, Microsoft MDE, Bit Defender, Qualys, Meraki to ensure automation and process optimization form the core of service delivery.
• Monitoring & Patching
  • Proactive Monitoring: Drive proactive monitoring and implement self-healing systems to ensure business continuity.
  • Patching Processes: Configure and manage Auto Pilot deployments and patching processes to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Analytics and Reporting
  • Use analytics and reporting to identify trends and improvement opportunities, driving data‑driven decision-making.
  • Reporting & Insights Dashboard Creation: Build dashboards and reports using Power BI and internal tools to provide actionable insights to management.
• Performance Presentation: Present performance trends, risks, and improvements to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
• Team Leadership
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop the Sys Ops team to meet performance and SLA targets, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Escalation Support: Provide escalation support for Sys Ops‑related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaboration & Strategic Initiatives
  • Technology Alignment: Work closely with other support teams to understand technology requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Initiative Management: Manage Sys Ops‑related initiatives, ensuring timely, on‑budget delivery and maximum value realization.
