JOB PURPOSE

The Operations Manager will lead and oversee the daily operations of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and service availability. The role involves managing the IT support team, coordinating project services with external vendors, identifying and generating new ICT business opportunities. Works closely with Sales & Tenders team to close sales opportunities and facilitate implementation. Management of key customer accounts and retain relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • A+ and N+
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • ITIL Service Operations Certification
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
Requirements

Required Experience:

  • 5-7 Years General IT Operations, infrastructure, service management and Support.
  • 2-3 Years in a supervisory or managerial position, overseeing teams or projects
  • Proficiency with IT systems, including networks, hardware, and software, is essential.
