Job summary

WNS, part of Capgemini, is seeking a Deputy/Assistant IT Manager to support the IT management team in maintaining and improving system compliance, and to own day-to-day IT support and process adherence for customer relationships and staff management.

The role involves incident ownership, change management, audits, and close coordination with internal/external technology groups, aligning IT strategy with business goals and developing the reporting IT team.

Qualifications

• Matric and a tertiary IT qualification are required.
• ITIL certification is beneficial.
• Asset management and stock control experience are required.
• Incident and change management experience are required.
• At least 5+ years in an IT team management role are required.
• Able to work on a 24/7 rotation basis if required.
• Broad knowledge of the IT landscape and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Own incidents and requests to ensure completion across client and WNS environments.
• Ensure compliance with policies and local standards, and drive 24/7 escalation handling.
• Line manage and develop the reporting IT team, plan workloads and appraisals.
• Draft reports on IT service delivery for Senior Management and audit readiness.
• Engage with customers to manage expectations and drive improvements.
