What will you be doing?

The role forms part of the IT Division and in this internship, you will collaborate directly with the team to provide support with configuration and troubleshooting desktop systems and workstations as well as assisting with other issues in a heterogeneous environment.

What will you need to be successful?
  • Perform day-to-day tracking of the Desktop operations to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Configuration, imaging, testing, diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software equipment. Hardware may include laptops, desktops, PDA's, mobile phones and external hard drives.
  • The ability to suggest hardware and software solutions or alternatives while adhering to the department standards, policies, and procedures.
  • The ability to establish courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Strong customer services skills
  • The ability to develop collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
Successful candidates would need the following:
  • Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology
  • Certification in CompTIA A+ & N+
  • Microsoft Certifications would be an advantage.
  • Valid Driver’s License
