IT Business Improvement Engineer Industrial Engineer (Permanent) Western Cape / Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Improvement Engineer to lead and govern process improvement projects develop management information frameworks and oversee company-wide business process mapping initiatives. This role requires strong stakeholder management and leadership skills within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and govern prioritised process improvement projects and initiatives
• Develop implement and monitor management information frameworks
• Determine and track project benefits and outcomes
• Ensure governance of business process mapping standards
• Manage stakeholder relationships effectively
• Lead and manage team members

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering (essential)
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA (desired)
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in business process engineering or business analysis
• Experience in hospital or healthcare environments (preferred)

Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient in industrial engineering principles including root cause analysis statistical analysis operations research and business process re-engineering
• Ability to creatively design and synthesise solutions
• Strong understanding of IT systems for data management and processing
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
• Awareness of sustainability and environmental impact considerations in engineering
• Knowledge of economics business management and project management practices
• Familiarity with relevant policies and procedures of the healthcare industry
