Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced IT Auditor with a strong focus on Information Security to join our client in Benoni on a hybrid schedule. The role emphasizes evaluating IT controls, assessing security risks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.

You will work closely with IT and business units to strengthen the organization's security posture, identify control weaknesses, and recommend practical improvements while staying current with evolving IT risks and audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2-4 years IT auditing, information security, or IT risk management.
• Knowledge of IT audit frameworks (COBIT, ITIL) and security standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Familiarity with network security, data privacy, and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with data analytics for audit purposes preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
