Job summary

Tafadzwa is seeking an Audit Inspector: IT Focus with extensive external audit and IT audit experience. You will inspect quality management in audit firms and review financial statement audits.

The role requires CA(SA) with six-plus years post-qualification experience, CISA, and strong knowledge of ISA and IFRS. You will lead ITGC and ITAC reviews and contribute to report quality and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Must have CA(SA) with external audit training and at least 6 years post-qualification experience.
• RA registration or eligibility to register as RA is advantageous.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with CPD up to date.
• At least 5 years IT audit experience within an external audit firm.
• Quality control reviews or audit technical support experience is advantageous.
• Minimum at Senior Manager level or equivalent in auditing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in risk-based inspection planning and scoping.
• Inspect planned engagements and review firms' quality management policies and procedures; discuss findings and prepare high-quality reports.
• Prepare inspection files with evidence and timely documentation.
• Engage in COMPANY projects to fulfill its mandate.
• Critically analyse ITGC and ITAC audits against ISA standards.
• Champion inspections using current tech in data analysis, automation, robotics, and blockchain.
• Support the Inspections Department in IT audit-related matters.
• Keep up to date with accounting, auditing and technology standards and regulations.
