Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to manage and support our organization's IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems (POS), MPLS, networks, and servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role includes both day-to-day technical support and long-term strategic planning for system improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and computer systems.
  • Monitor telephony and connectivity to ensure no downtime.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights in systems such as Active Directory.
  • Perform daily backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place and tested.
  • Maintain IT documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, asset inventory, and user guides.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies and security measures (e.g., firewalls, antivirus software).
  • Manage and support cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft, POS - SQL).
  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for equipment, licensing, and support contracts.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Requirements
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). 2–5 years of experience in a similar IT administration role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and server environments; experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.); strong knowledge of security best practices and tools; hands‑on experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions; performing software installations and troubleshooting; SQL report writing; good understanding of an MPLS network (Connectivity and Telephony).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Work Environment: Office‑based with occasional remote support; may require occasional after‑hours or weekend support for maintenance or emergencies.
  • Job Type: Full‑time.
