Job Overview

The Director of Investor Relations (IR) will lead Optasia's engagement with the investment community, ensuring transparent, consistent, and compelling communication with shareholders, analysts, and other stakeholders.

This role requires strong financial acumen, storytelling capability, and credibility with institutional investors, private equity stakeholders, analysts, and regulators.

Beyond traditional IR responsibilities, the role also oversees ESG reporting and positioning, ensuring sustainability and purpose are embedded into Optasia's equity story and external communications.

Responsibilities
  • Investor Engagement & Communication
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and financial stakeholders.
    • Translate financial and ESG performance into clear, investor‑friendly messaging.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for investor queries, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant responses.
    • Monitor investor sentiment, analyst coverage, and ESG ratings to provide insights to leadership.
  • ESG Reporting & Positioning
    • Lead preparation of Optasia's sustainability reporting (annual ESG report, KPIs, and frameworks such as GRI / SASB / TCFD).
    • Ensure ESG disclosures align with investor expectations and international best practices.
    • Work with Marketing & Strategy to embed ESG into Optasia's brand and purpose‑driven positioning.
    • Engage with ESG‑focused investors, funds, and rating agencies to strengthen Optasia's sustainability profile.
  • Disclosure & Reporting
    • Oversee quarterly, half‑year, and annual investor communication packages.
    • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across all financial and ESG disclosures.
    • Partner with Finance to align investor messaging with financial reporting and ESG metrics.
  • Events & Roadshows
    • Plan and execute investor briefings, non‑deal roadshows, and participation in financial conferences.
    • Lead organization of investor days and quarterly results presentations.
    • Support CEO, CFO, and CSO in all investor‑facing events and speaking opportunities.
  • Shareholder & Stakeholder Management
    • Maintain investor and ESG stakeholder databases, engagement logs, and feedback records.
    • Provide shareholder and ESG insights to management and the Board to inform strategy and governance decisions.
    • Manage communications with institutional investors and other shareholder group.
What you will bring
  • 10+ years' experience in investor relations, capital markets, equity research, or corporate finance.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to simplify complex data and ESG metrics.
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs) and investor disclosure best practices.
  • Established network with institutional investors and analysts is an advantage.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
