A leading investment firm in Cape Town is seeking an individual to support its SADC Investment team. The position focuses on financial analysis, overseeing the investment process, and managing portfolio performance. Candidates should have an Honours Financial degree and up to 3 years of experience in investment environments. This role entails significant responsibilities, including preparing investment documentation and engaging with portfolio management teams.

AIIM seeks a talented individual to support the SADC Investment team and contribute to Africa's development.
Responsibilities Financial analysis – Review and analyse financial statements; build, review, run, modify, and interpret financial models (including VBA macros); perform comprehensive company valuations; review and analyse potential financing structures.
Investment process and transaction execution – Perform risk analysis; manage due diligence processes and coordinate transaction advisors; support senior team members in negotiating transaction and project documents; compile bid documents in tender submissions.
Investment papers and marketing materials – Prepare investment papers; conduct company and market research.
Asset management – Track asset performance against original projections; support portfolio companies in value‑enhancing initiatives; engage with portfolio company management.
Deal identification and origination – Support senior team in deal identification; travel for projects and site visits as well as short- to medium‑term assignments across AIIM offices on the continent.
Experience and Core Competencies Required An Honours Financial degree or equivalent 0–3 years' experience within an Investment
