We are looking for a Client Services Administrator to join our dynamic team supporting our Wealth Managers client administration for both local and offshore investments. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple investment platforms and banking systems. This role requires solid knowledge of investment administration, strong organisational skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality service within a fast-paced,
deadline-driven environment.
Education & Qualifications Skills & Experience
- Relevant tertiary education qualification (post-grad an advantage).
- Regulatory: RE5 required
- 2-3 years’ experience in investment administration, wealth management, or
- financial services
- Strong working knowledge of investment platforms (both local and offshore)
- Experience with Investec CCM banking (advantageous)
- Understanding of foreign exchange transactions and investment flows
- Competence in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Compliance awareness – FICA, FAIS, and general investment regulatory framework
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy and
- attention to detail
Account Administration
- Process and manage new investment account openings (local and offshore platforms)
- Maintain client records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Banking and Payments (Investec CCM)
- Handle banking transactions and payment processing via the Investec CCM platform
- Manage forex outward payments and inward receipts of funds
Investment administration
- Action investment transactions, including:
- Redemptions, switches, additions, and debit order processing
- Section transfers across all types of investment products (local and offshore)
- Liaise with product providers and platforms to ensure accurate and timeous execution
- Administer offshore platform trading – shares, stocks, and other listed instruments
- Project & Process Management
- Assist with project management initiatives within the Client Services space (e.g. platform migrations, process enhancements, data clean-ups)
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance requirements (FAIS, FICA, FATCA, CRS, etc.)
- Maintain proper record keeping and audit trails of all instructions and approvals
- Collaborate with compliance team to resolve queries and ensure best practice
- Client & Team Support
- Provide professional, timely support to Wealth Managers and internal stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with clients when required, ensuring a consistent and high-quality service experience
