Peoplefinder Career Placements is seeking an Inventory Planner for a retail client to manage inbound supply chain through effective supplier account management and range control. You will forecast, analyze data and ensure optimal stock levels and service levels.

Key duties include data reporting, promotional planning, replenishment, supplier account coordination, parameter setting for forecasting, placing purchase orders, and project management. SAP and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Matric with a degree in Supply Chain or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain.
• Proficient in Excel, especially Pivot Tables.
• SAP knowledge essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Inventory Planner

Our client in the retail industry requires the service of an Inventory Planner to manage the inbound Supply Chain through effective management of supplier accounts and product ranges.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key performance areas:

• Data analysis and reporting
• Promotional planning and replenishment
• System coordination of supplier accounts to optimize most profitable ordering patterns/frequency
• Item parameter setting and data analysis to enable optimal forecasting results
• Place supplier purchase orders to ensure achievement of inventory and service
• Project Management

Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must have:

• Matric with a degree in Supply Chain or relevant qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain
• Excellent product knowledge
• Excellent Computer Literacy (MS Office - Especially Excel - Pivot Tables)
• SAP Knowledge is Essential
• Must have excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
