The key purpose of this role is to be responsible for ensuring the correct finished goods are planned out in accordance with the planning methodologies, to ensure stock is planned for deployment to the correct DC's to safeguard service level.

This position is shift based, and as such may fall outside of normal business working hours.

The planner will be responsible for analysing and, if necessary, adjusting the plan, providing relevant feedback to relevant stakeholders regarding queries / risks for their region or DC.

The candidate will be required to build strong relationships within internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful planning and execution to ensure service level targets are met.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Analyse and optimise finished goods stock levels between Breweries, DC's and Distributors
  • Planning in accordance with planning principles and in line with inventory policy / Demand to ensure healthy DOC at DCs down to a SKU level.
  • Optimising load plans to ensure site throughput, T1 sizing is within parameters to enable execution
  • Maintain stock levels at the brewery to allow cross functional planning (exports / T2 / Dship)
  • Amendments of D0 loads to ensure continuous execution due to production fluctuations, on Spotlight & SAP
  • Analyse the production % split between exports / T2 / Dship and ensure correct split is in the system
  • Identifying and mitigating inventory‑related risks, such as stockouts, overstocking, obsolescence
  • Ensuring redeployment of SKUs at risk of obsolescence, ensuring load optimisation, minimising VLC impact
  • Managing internal stakeholders by providing continuous feedback on queries and risks to the deployment plan
  • Managing regional meetings within internal logistics team to ensure stock balance within the region
  • Aligning to the Global LCP methodologies of inventory deployment strategies
  • Run the ELP, collaborating on output to ensure Container plan accuracy
  • Monitoring execution on priority deliverables, and escalating to necessary stakeholders
  • Compile reports and presentations to present to senior stakeholders

Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant Bachelors degree in Planning, Supply Chain Management or Logistics
  • 3 – 5 years operational or planning experience in FMCG
  • Deep Knowledge of NoCC Logistics and Planning processes, specifically inventory management
  • Understanding of ABInBev Logistics and Planning principles
  • Ability to conduct improvement through root cause and trends analysis using Belt methodology
