Job summary

Boardroom Appointments Roodepoort is seeking a Store Assistant to maintain neat shelves and accurate stock; check incoming deliveries, rotate stock and support the Store Manager with sales activity.

You will communicate in English, Afrikaans and Zulu, with Matric and 2–3 years’ experience. The role emphasizes customer care and timely stock-take participation in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Matric required.
• Fluent in English, Afrikaans and Zulu.
• 2–3 years experience as Store Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Keep shelves stocked and tidy at all times.
• Check all incoming stock for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and address slow-moving or redundant stock with urgency.
• Assist Store Manager with daily, weekly and monthly sales.
• Identify and communicate new business ideas and opportunities.
• Provide a high level of customer care at all times.
• Assist with quarterly stock takes.
