Inventory Controller Graduate – Durban and Cape Town

What will you be doing?

An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Supply Chain Division for an Inventory Controller Graduate. This role reports into our Inventory and Supply Planning Manager and is responsible for planning, purchasing and managing the supply of materials from Vendor to Warehouse, following source and distribution rules and agreements.

What will you need to be successful?
  • Schedule the supply of material / components to meet sales requirements and safety stock levels.
  • Day to day order management and management of stock redistribution.
  • Understand and manage (through escalation where necessary) risks to minimize impact on sales.
  • Utilize the MRP system to ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any disparities as required.
  • Create regular key statistical reports and analysis that is used as key inputs for other functions within the organization.
Successful candidates would need the following:
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in data capture, preferably in a computerized stores environment.
  • Matric Qualification.
  • Supply Chain Degree or Diploma.
