Overview

A career opportunity exists at RTG TECHNICAL SERVICES, NIGEL (TRAILERSHOP) for the position of INVENTORY CONTROLLER.

Job Summary

• Perform all aspects of stock handling (ordering, receiving, matching documentation, packing, loading, offloading, maintaining, picking, issuing, capturing)
• Accurate, efficient capturing and maintaining of the inventory management system
• Addressing of inventory discrepancies
• Control and issue special tools
• Performs physical cycle count of inventory
• Coordinating stock counts
• Monitoring inventory levels
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards
• Improving inventory management and procedures
• Inventory reconciliations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Storeman
• Contactable references
• Matric
• Computer literacy (intermediate Excel advantageous)
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Sober habits
• Medically fit to lift heavy items
• Own transportation
• Working knowledge of inventory management software (advantageous)
