About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Inventory Clerk to join their operations team in Nelspruit . This role is critical for maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are precise and up-to-date. You will be responsible for performing regular stock checks, reconciling discrepancies, and managing stockroom organization to support efficient retail operations. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to managing stock, contributing to the smooth running of the business in the Mpumalanga province.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record the receipt of incoming inventory and verify quantities against purchase orders.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure data integrity.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Organize and maintain inventory in the stockroom or warehouse, ensuring easy accessibility and proper storage.
• Process stock transfers and returns, ensuring all movements are properly documented.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of inventory control procedures and systems in Nelspruit .
