Job summary

Dj Recruitment is seeking Internal Auditors (all levels) for Cape Town & Gauteng to join project-based consulting assignments across leading organisations in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance and Retail linked to Financial Services.

Requirements include a degree/diploma in Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management, or Finance, plus 2+ years of Internal Audit experience and strong knowledge of risk, governance and internal control frameworks. Immediate availability preferred.

• Degree/diploma in Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management, or Finance.
• Minimum 2+ years' Internal Audit experience (junior to senior levels).
• Strong knowledge of risk, compliance, governance, and internal control frameworks.
• Industry exposure in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Retail Financial Services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to consulting environments and short-term projects.
• Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.

Preferred / Advantageous

• CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or progress toward certification.
• Experience in IT audit, cybersecurity audit, or operational audit.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, system migrations, or automation projects.
• Knowledge of IFRS, King IV, COSO frameworks.
• Prior consulting or project-based audit exposure.
